A flap over the door and vents in the roof work well creating a good updraft to pull out the moisture.
Keep Out the Weather
You want your dog house to keep your dog dry and warm in bad weather so be sure you have no leaks in the roof or holes in the walls that will let in rain or wind. Putting a flap over the door will also go a long way to keeping the inside of the house warm and dry. Building a dog house for your pet is a fun and rewarding project. Your dog will have shelter from the weather and you can be proud of building it yourself.
